Nearly an hour later I am none the wiser and the bloody thing still won't connect through my iMac. works fine on my iPhone and iPad???????
The router is right nxt to the printer but the printer states signal strength is only 48%
I give up, going out to find a random person in the street to punch as I am scared of my wife!
Oh the guy in India from BT got me to fiddle with the settings on the router changing some settings but not helped
