Best way around the halal issue in food retail outlets is to replace the sweet tower with a toy one. Towers with the new plastic one piece barrels can hold about 120 toy capsules. Convert those spare towers to toys!

I upgraded drums on M42 Pringles quite a few times. If it has the old style of barrel then you need to cut out the plastic barrel holder then rivet in the new metal holder in it's place. Takes about half an hour cutting & filing.

I've got a few M81s as well. Agreed they are a bit fragile. I won't be rolling them out in numbers.

Get a strong screw driver jam it between the mech and machime and prise the mech free. you may have to use force and the front of the machine will bend but it will not break!

Yes you're right, grind down the handel to fit the barrel. Handel dimensions do vary between mechs. I've ground down the handels on ill fitting mechs and the work perfectly.

Salysol Tapas products normally use same size pots as what we use in the M81. tubz vending use their own purpose designed machine. Salysol also use 'giant size pots' where they insert a sleeve into an M42 to help dispence the product. If you buy tapas ensure you have a long expiry date (years) on th...
