sole trader,ex vat inspector doing mine too think he would know more about the flat rate

If I register for the flat rate and buy no machines this year then the way I understand it is I will be paying 4% of my earnings to the vat man , but if I didn't register then I can claim back all vat that I pay and pay 20% of earnings .What's best ?? Also does the vat be paid before any earnings ar...

I registered for VAT this year as I have bought a lot of new machines and a new van , I am just under the threshold but registered mainly to get the VAT back on machines and van . Can I now change to the flat rate or do I have to continue on for a set amount of time .Any info on the flat rate scheme...

If you stop the tokens from going through, then you will jam the mech which in turn stops any more vends therefore , = no sales , better to just accept that you will get the odd token

Does anybody do this , if so is it more profitable than buying pre packed ? Also what products are suitable for self packing ( mini tubs ) Would appreciate any info on this subject

Just came across this forum and find it very informative . I am currently operating 100 machines within n.i. ,but still open to any advice or tips that come my way.
